Steve Wade, Senior Vice President
Steve Wade is the Senior Vice President of the Hawkeye Life Insurance Group. He started with Hawkeye in late 2007 as a Regional Sales Manager and was promoted in 2016 when the previous SVP retired. Steve has been in sales his entire career, including over 30 years in the automotive business. His previous automotive dealership positions have included Salesman, Business Manager, and F&I Director. He holds active licenses for both Credit and Property & Casualty insurance. Steve was born in Germany and has lived all over as an Army brat before landing back in his father’s hometown of Des Moines. He and his wife Pam have three kids and two dogs and enjoy traveling. Working on one of his three-car projects, gardening, and fishing are other things he enjoys.
Jim Jensen, Regional Sales Manager
Jim Jensen is a Regional Sales Manager for Hawkeye Dealer Services. He grew up in the car business and has held many positions in the dealership including Lot Attendant, Parts Runner, Sales Manager, GSM, and Dealer Principal. After selling the dealerships in 2007 he spent some time in the insurance industry before coming to Hawkeye in 2011. Jim graduated from Bowling Green State University where he earned a degree in Marketing. Born and raised in Des Moines Iowa, he and his wife, Amy, have three boys and a white lab named Greta. Jim is a Shriner and a Mason who enjoys live music, golf, and spending time with friends and family.
Kyle Curtis, Regional Sales Manager
Kyle Curtis is a Regional Sales Manager for Hawkeye Dealer Services. He started at Hawkeye in 2018 and has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years. Kyle has held positions including Salesmen, Sales Manager, Business Manager, GSM, and GM at several different dealerships. He grew up, and lives in, Southern Iowa with his wife Kelli and their four kids, two dogs, and several outdoor cats. Kyle enjoys spending time at the kids’ various activities and hunting when he can.
Laura Farran, Office Manager
Laura Farran is the Office Manager for Hawkeye Dealer Services. She holds a BA in Accounting and a minor in Art from the University of Northern Iowa. Laura lives in the Des Moines area and has two kids and one grandchild. Laura enjoys just about any outdoor activity but especially kayaking. She also loves spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking.
